Prime Minister Justin Trudeau talked

Parliament at the EU headquarters in Brussels, on
March 23, 2022. Majority of MEPs left the room
before Justin Trudeau started his speech. It seems Prime Minister Justin
Trudeau isn’t welcome by some members of the
European Parliament.
On March 23, PM Justin Trudeau was called a
dictator in front of the entire European Union
over his response to the Freedom Convoy.
MEP Christine Anderson of Germany said Trudeau
shouldn’t be allowed to speak to the European
Parliament over the handling of the Freedom
Convoy, calling him a “disgrace for any
democracy.”
“A prime minister who openly admires the Chinese
basic dictatorship, who tramples on fundamental
rights by persecuting and criminalizing his own
citizens as terrorists just because they dared to
stand up to his perverted concept of democracy
should not be allowed to speak in this house at
all,” said Anderson.

slammed dictator and enemy of freedom, Justin
Trudeau when he visited the EU Parliament this week.

During a plenary
session of parliament Wednesday in Brussels, several
MEPs called Trudeau out, accusing him of violating
human rights over the handling of the Freedom Convoy
protest in Ottawa last month.
In one speech that
has gone viral online, MEP Mislav Kolakusic of
Croatia criticized Canada’s leader, stating, “There
are those among us who trample on those fundamental
values,” a reference to some protesters’
controversial encounter with police
horses near Parliament Hill.
“For many of us are
fundamental human rights for which millions of
citizens of Europe and the world have laid down
their lives,” Kolakusic said in front of Trudeau,
who had addressed parliament.
“To defend our
rights and the rights of our children, which we have
acquired over the centuries, many of us, including
myself, are willing to risk, our freedom and our own
lives.”
Kolakusic said
Canada was once a symbol of the modern world but in
recent months has become a “symbol of civil rights
violation” under Trudeau’s “quasi-liberal boot.”
“We watched how you
trample women with horses, how you block bank
accounts of single parents so they can’t even pay
their children’s education and medicine, that they
can’t pay utilities, mortgages for their homes,”
said Kolakusic. “To you, these may be liberal
methods, for many citizens of the world, it is a
dictatorship of the worst kind.”
Kolakusic said
united citizens of the world “can stop a regime that
wants to destroy the freedom of citizens, either by
bombs or harmful pharmaceutical products.”

Croatia MEP Mislav Kolakusic made the strident
comments while Prime Minister Trudeau was on a
two-day trip to Belgium.

Another MEP, Cristian Terhes of Romania, refused to
attend the meeting because of Trudeau. In a Facebook
post, Terhes said Trudeau can’t come and “teach
democracy lessons to Putin from the European
Parliament when you trample with horse hooves your
own citizens who are demanding their fundamental
rights be respected."
Terhes:
"I refused to validate by my presence the facade
of the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who
gave a speech before the Plenary of the European
Parliament on 23.03.2022, it was the reason for
which I was not in the room when he spoke."
As some of you might recall Terheș was
a vocal critic of Trudeau's in Brussels when the
Canadian prime minister invoked the Emergencies Act to
quash the protests in Ottawa.

German MEP Bernhard Zimniok also blasted Trudeau,
stating he valued democracy highly and welcoming
Trudeau is “an invitation to someone who has been
trampling on democratic rights.”
Zimniok said Trudeau has been “cracking down on people
who protested against disproportionate corona
measures, people who were supporting a non-sanctioned
movement coming under criticism.”
“Clearly the values of democracy are being despised by
this individual,” he said. “Let us not give someone
like this any speaking time in this house of
democracy.”

politician condemns Trudeau’s “human rights
violation” against convoy
A Finnish politician is calling on the European Union
(EU) to denounce Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s
violent crackdown on peaceful trucker convoy
protesters in Ottawa.
Member of European Parliament (MEP) Laura Huhtasaari
wrote to the Vice-President of the European Commission
and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign
Affairs and Security Policy demanding the EU clarify
where it stands on Trudeau’s actions.
“On several occasions the EU has condemned human
rights violations in various countries,” Huhtasaari
wrote. “Does the Commission or the High Representative
of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security
Policy intend to condemn the measures used by Canada
against peaceful protest in the Canadian convoy
demonstration, and what is the EU’s position on the
Canadian Government’s actions against peaceful
protest?”
Huhtasaari’s question for written
answer also addressed the fact that in 2020
Trudeau had publicly endorsed similar
demonstrations by farmers in Delhi, India, which
earned him the ire of India’s foreign
ministry.
“Canada will always stand for the
rights of peaceful protests anywhere in the world
and we are pleased to see moves towards
de-escalation and dialogue,” Trudeau said at the
time.
Trudeau’s double standards were not
only noticed by Huhtasaari in the European
Parliament, but they also prompted the head of
Foreign Affairs for the Bharatiya Janata Party –
one of India’s two largest political bodies – to call out Trudeau on
Twitter over his invocation of the Emergencies
Act.
“And this was (Justin Trudeau) when
there were street protests in India ‘Canada will
always be there to defend the rights of peaceful
protesters’,” tweeted Dr. Vijay
Chauthaiwale.
After using the act to assume
emergency powers, the Trudeau government ordered a
militarized police operation in Canada’s capital
to clear the downtown core of demonstrators. A
joint force of municipal, provincial and federal
police arrested hundreds, and some bystanders were
even trampled by riot horses.
The Emergencies Act also gave the
federal government powers to have the assets of
truckers frozen, including cryptocurrency
wallets.
“Canada has decided, inter alia, to
freeze the bank accounts of persons taking part in
the demonstrations, and has threatened to arrest
peaceful demonstrators,” Huhtasaari wrote.
