We are a local Polish deli situated in Ottawa, offering fresh, quality cold cuts and cheeses, as well as a delightful array of authentic European delicacies and groceries.

Responsibilities: (Training will be provided)
- Safely and comfortably operating and cleaning a meat slicer
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing deli deliveries
- Stocking products on shelves
- Processing cash and debit card transactions
- Mopping, sweeping, and other cleaning procedures as required
- Other duties as required

Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Responsibility and punctuality, arriving to work prepared and on time
- Ability to work weekends and holidays (Easter and Christmas) is a MUST
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred

Główną sceną Dnia Kanady, na której odbędą się wszystkie oficjalne wydarzenia związane z Dniem Kanady, jest LeBreton Flats, zaledwie 1,5 km na zachód od Parliament Hill.

Dołącz do uroczystości w LeBreton Flats Park i innych miejscach w sercu Ottawy – Gatineau! Od godziny 9:00 liczne atrakcje, animacje i pokazy przygotowane przez kanadyjskich artystów będą okazją do świętowania przez cały dzień. Nie przegap fajerwerków Tim Hortons Canada Day, które rozświetlą niebo od 22:00.

Dołącz do Kanadyjczyków i gości ubranych na czerwono i biało, którzy co roku biorą udział w największej imprezie z okazji Dnia Kanady w kraju, która odbywa się 1 lipca w regionie stołecznym Kanady!

Due to the Centre Block Rehabilitation project, the Canada Day main stage moved to LeBreton Flats Park.

The Canada Day main stage — where all official Canada Day-related activities will take place — is LeBreton Flats, just 1.5 kilometres west of Parliament Hill.

Join the celebrations at LeBreton Flats Park and elsewhere in the heart of Ottawa – Gatineau! From 9 a.m., a number of activities, animations and shows presented by Canadian artists will give you a chance to celebrate throughout the day. Don’t miss the Tim Hortons Canada day fireworks that will light up the sky as of 10:00 p.m.

Join Canadians and visitors dressed in red and white as they take part in the biggest Canada Day party in the country each year on July 1 in Canada’s capital region!

This epic celebration features a variety of free programming at official sites in Ottawa and Gatineau, including interactive activities, appearances by dignitaries and special guests, live performances by top and emerging Canadian musicians, and an impressive fireworks show (weather permitting)!

In observance of Canada Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa and the consular office will be closed on July 1, 2024.

Happy Canada Day!


  • W poniedziałek autobusy, pociągi O-Train i Para Transpo jeżdżą bezpłatnie przez cały dzień.
  • OC Transpo będzie działać według rozszerzonego niedzielnego rozkładu jazdy ze zwiększoną liczbą usług przez cały dzień.
  • Buses, O-Train, Para Transpo free to ride all day on Monday.
  • OC Transpo will operate on an enhanced Sunday schedule with increased service all day.

Canada Day in Ottawa will be filled with free activities and fireworks, but make sure to check ahead to see what's open and what's closed.
  • Most businesses and public facilities will be closed on the federal holiday, barring a few exceptions.
  • Most grocery stores in the city will be closed, but there are a few exceptions.
  • Stores in certain areas of the city such as the Glebe and ByWard Market can open on holidays under the province's Retail Business Holidays Act. This also applies to grocery stores.
  • The Rideau Centre will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tanger Outlets will be open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Bayshore Shopping Centre, St. Laurent Shopping Centre and Place d'Orléans will be closed.
  • All LCBOs will be closed.
  • Select Beer Stores around the city will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m
  • Most pools, arenas, and recreation and fitness centres will be closed or operating on a modified schedule. The city suggests checking each facility's page for more details.
  • Outdoor pools, splash pads and wading pools will be open.
  • Arts Court, the Nepean Creative Arts Centre, the Nepean Visual Arts Centre, city-operated museums, Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe and the Shenkman Arts Centre will be closed.
